This was an experimental shot with camera in the macro mode. The macro mode helped to blur the background. I used natural light and it was evening time and so the lighting was apt to give a dull effect. I think the green colour reflection that came from my mothers garden plants also gave different touch.

The pic was shot in my native "Kerala", In Kerala is place dressed in green, everywhere its green
This was shot with flash on and the camera set to 'sun behind subject' (something like that) mode. I tried focussing a 100 times with the automatic focus in the camera to get the leaves i focus. hopefully the sun which is shining in between the leaves, did not give any bad glare.
